In these uncertain times it is important to find beauty amongst the chaos. This is the first of a new body of work utilizing impressions in mixed media. Everything, everyone and every experience makes or leaves an imprint upon us, in some small or large way, good or bad. This piece strives to symbolize that thought. Sometimes just a fleeting smile or one small act of kindness can make a lasting impression upon us and how we feel. At the same time it is about finding beauty in the small, simple and sacred things, the detail, the moment, a frost coated web, a shell, an insect wing, torn fabric, a crack in dry earth, oil in water, a murmeration. The miracles are endless, if you care to look for them, to see them, to find them.
