Artist's description:
This work is a one-of-a-kind Original oil on canvas painting inspired by the stunning scarlet poppies almost floating amongst the summer wheat fields. The painting is developed with gestural palette knife strokes, building layers and texture to create depth and vibrancy, to capture the essence of being within the landscape.
This painting is from my Ready-to-Hang collection offered for sale on-line EXCLUSIVELY on Artfinder, offering the opportunity to buy original art at an affordable price.
Executed on Honsell Vernissage high quality stretched block canvas 320gsm fine-grain cotton, with universal primer, and with softwood stretchers. Canvas size is 25 x 25 cm square with deep edges of 4.5cm. The sides of the canvas are painted with a tonal soft green colour. The canvas is signed on both the front and the back, and there are 2 D-rings attached to each side of the softwood stretchers strung with strong cord so that this work is READY TO HANG to sit flush against the wall, with no need for any further framing, offering a contemporary finish to the artwork.
Upon purchase, your special painting will be carefully packaged with a protective cellophane sleeve, then sandwiched between cardboard and packaged with bubble wrap and waterproof bag, then lovingly packaged in bend-proof cardboard mailer/box and sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed next day delivery) with tracking and insurance.
