Artist's description:

From my series of black and white works done on paper using ink. This time I added a splash of color using a gouache.

The idea behind these monochrome works, much like Rorschach tests, is to see whatever it is that you see.

To me, this particular piece resembles "The Flame," which was an early work of Jackson Pollock's.

Often, when titling work (something I'm not a fan of doing) I'll use a synonym instead of a obvious word. Fervor is another word for flame, fire, or passion.

Materials used:

Ink, gouache
