Artist's description:
Original watercolor painting on highest quality 100% cotton Arches cold pressed watercolor paper.
Sweet memories of childhood and fatherhood...
Father's Day is another opportunity to say "thank you" to our dads. Traditionally it is the third Sunday of June. The first celebration of the Father's Day took place in Spokane, WA on June 19, 1910. It is a special day when we express our love, respect and appreciation to our fathers.
Frames are not included.
Please note that the colors of the original paintings are always slightly different than it appears on monitors.
Shipping price includes my packaging costs.
The artwork is signed on the front and on the back.
All my original art comes with the signed certificate of authenticity.
Different countries have different size standards for frames. For non-standard sizes and shapes I would recommend a floating technique of framing. It is a nice way to showcase any original watercolor painting. You can buy a standard size frame with a nice backing board and attach the painting to it using an archival hinging tape.
An artwork should be floated rather than matted when:
- An artwork has deckled edges.
- An artwork is of an irregular shape.
- The composition of the artwork shows that the edges deserve to be exposed.
- The edges of an original watercolor painting are nicely wrinkled.
Natural edges will also give a dimensional look to your artwork.
There are different floating techniques.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the artwork.
