Artist's description:

The title “Fat Lady” only depicts a small portion of this surreal environmental study. The woman is centrally located observing the activity around her. A dragon, fish eating and some folks in a boat. But what gives with the head floating on the left. Who is he? What is his part in this fantasy? What do you see?

My paintings are spontaneous at inception as I create my initial piece with a soft pencil and acrylic paint using a small brush. Prior, I stretch and prime my canvas with a base color (in this case blue) as an underpainting to affect my color palette for the piece. The paintings in there own way are very detailed using only small brushes. I layer paint and use thin washes to create varying colors and rich textures.. Although each are different there is a recurring theme, the cycle-of-life in my created worlds.

Each of my paintings should be hung without frames as they are painted on all sides. They are signed on the bottom right side.

All shipping is based on UPS Ground (East Coast to West Coast.) If you wish to purchase this piece I’m happy to set up exact costs based on your location in the U.S. or abroad and re-adjust the shipping amount before your online purchase.
