Original artwork description:
The farrier is shoeing the horse, which is submitting placidly to having it's new shoe hammered on. I like to paint animals and people, and this subject makes an interesting picture.
This pastel painting is not framed, but mounted on foam board with an off-white mount. Clear plastic sheet is inserted under the mount to prevent smudging, and all this is inserted into an archival bag. The painting can be removed when ready for framing. Framing instructions are included.
