Original mixed media abstract on 300gsm Paper. Layers of watercolour, pastels and pencils applied in a variety of ways and further embellished with ink are used to create this miniature colourful abstract landscape with a mostly green theme from a series of 12. Inspired by plants, pattern making and platform games the title hints at an idea of a fantastical garden with imaginary trees but the viewer is left to interpret this work based on their own experiences.
Using a variety of tools and mark making, this mini painting brings together ideas from life and my imagination with the use of colour, design, composition and values - painted in June 2017.
This painting is a miniature at only 10cm X 10cm or approx 4" X 4" and appears 9.5cm X 9.5cm in the mount. It will be sent to you matted (mounted) in an 8" X 8" (approx 20 x 20cm) off white mount as shown.
