Artist's description:

An oil painting of children on the beach deciding whether to go into the sea.
I love the way children are so unself-conscious about what they do but some how manage to look harmonious together. Even when they argue their body language just seems to be in step.
Often I paint my pictures in a square format because everything fits better and it becomes a whole, no space at the top or bottom or sides, a sort of circle of activity.
In slender white floater frame.

Materials used:

oil paints. canvas on panel, float frame
