Artist's description:

This is an early work of art of Yellow Flowers in a handmade Vase. The handmade Vase was made by using Stoneware Clay, with Ceramic Paints. The form of the Vase was inspired by a Tree Truck, with Bark on the outside. The upper side of the Vase has holes punched through with clay tool, in order that flowers can slot into the Truck, just like moss or other vegetation growing on the side of a Tree.

In this work, I have taken a different stance, with the Vase on its side, and flowers, and water spilling out.

This is a rare early work of art of an initial study of "Fallen Flowers in Handmade Vase II" made in pre-Art School, in 2008, inspired by the work of Vincent van Gogh.
