This thickly impastoed painting from the late Cornish period has been criticized as pornographic (the eye of the beholder?). It is actually a painterly adaption of a theatrical promotional photograph. However, I welcome all views. As with 'Woman at a gate' it remains one of my favourite works. It is robustly framed by myself and is therefore quite heavy.
