Artist's description:

Faces, is a new series of older portrait shots I've done; brought up to date for the contemporary market. Note: If a "C" is in back of the number, it is a cropped version of the original print. It remains the same size as the original, however; it is cropped to the photograph that is shown in the in-context photograph, in the room setting.

The series concept explores the impact of the interplay of light on the face's features and contours. This brings to mind when as a kid, my older sister put a flashlight/torch under her chin in an attempt to scare me; she really scared me. How come older siblings do that? I thought that maybe the reason I started this new Face series; cropping portraits I've done. An underlying neurosis? But I now know the reason for this. I've been watching too many shows of "The Wonderful World of Gordon Watson."
