The idea for this unique painting was derived from a harsh scenery we came across in one of lost rural areas in East Europe, meeting a family that didn't want to believe to their loss, believe that the dad of a young boy is never coming back to home and a desperate face of a woman that cannot hide her tragedy but makes unbelievable efforts to motivate her son to hope, wait and believe that nothing is clear...
