Artist's description:

Three-dimension work made of raw wool, polyurethane, oat, gilded wood and nylon on wooden panel.

This work is a juxtaposition between the role a woman takes for herself today and the role she has naturally played through human evolution. Having had a successful career and developing more masculine traits in myself, I now find myself tapping into this primal knowledge of what it is to be a real woman after having had my child.

Woman is the creator of life itself and of everything that is worth living for. We forget this in how we see ourselves and allow others to treat us. We let our choices be guided by wanting to prove someone wrong, to prove that we are just as good as men at what they do. Interestingly we often loose sight of who we truly are as women doing that and of our own magnificence.
