This piece is the fourth in my series of 'Mad Mapping'. The inspiration for these artworks came from my experience as a Royal Air Force search and rescue helicopter pilot. Flying over towns and country I was always very aware of the amazing and varied patterns and shapes that the fields and town layouts projected. I vowed one day to produce an artistic interpretation of those amazing shapes and colours and this series is the result.
This fourth piece in the series celebrates the UK university city of Cambridge - a dramatically colourful representation of the road system in the centre of the city as it straddle the River Cam. This study has no deep meaning and is just a colourful and decorative fun piece, which, for those who live or studied in this city it may well bear further examination.
Please Note: All my limited editions are printed by London's leading fine art lab onto Hahnemühle German Etching paper using archival inks. The fine art print is matt in appearance and the paper is like heavy art paper being 310 gsm.
Also note that my equipment is calibrated from camera right through to the print process so unless you are using a fully calibrated monitor the colors of your Limited Edition are very likely to be slightly different than it appears on your own screen.
Shipping price includes all packaging costs.
