Artist's description:

When I was living in Estonia I painted a series of Matryoshkas. I used modern culture as inspiration for the series. In the evening the Russian ladies would come out in their flashy small cloths covered in a think layer of fake tan.

The painting is stretched onto a think inner frame and the edges painted. This means it does not need framing.

Materials used:

Acrylic paint and gloss varnish

Eurotrash Matryoshka (2011)
