I painted “Essence of Flower Mind” in 2016. The style is abstract expressionism. This piece was inspired by a visit to Wichita’s Botanical Gardens where there were so many beautiful flowers in bloom.
I used a variety of paint application techniques…brushes, palette knives, dripping, squeezing, and even smearing with my fingers while wearing gloves. The result is an impasto painting with a colorful, highly textured look and feel.
The painting is signed on the front, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity. The painting is also ready to hang, since I’ve painted all four sides of the work.
I've provided photos of the front of the painting and an image of the painting hanging on the wall. The painting is signed on the front, and it comes with a certificate of authenticity. It is also wired and ready to hang.
