Probably most would run scared seeing one of these scuttle past your feet but if you dare to stop and look closely they are really beautiful insects - and they can come in the most luminous greens and blues, almost like a cluster of jewels with six legs :-)
This is the fourth print of the Escaravellos beetle, which is part of a limited edition of only 10.
These are linocut prints with chine colle', which is delicate tissue paper hand painted by me using acrylics paint and then collaged on to the paper before printing the linocut.
When using chine colle' every print is different due to the nature of the hand painting, and why each piece made is quite unique.

Materials used:

Somerset satin 300gm and oil based inks
