As well as having a very distinctive beard, Ernie Ives was a highly skilled microscopist (slide maker) and marquetarian. He taught both with amazing dedication and enthusiasm. Sadly, he died in February 2014, aged 80.
I made the woodcut so that he would be remembered. The world could do with a lot more Ernies!
The print will be supplied rolled in a strong cardboard tube.
