I made the template for this art work whilst a beautiful model was posing. The figure is loose and abstracted because I work rapidly, looking mainly at the model rather than what I'm cutting. As well as being striking from a distance, the art work has some intriguing subtleties on closer viewing: the figure sits slightly away from the backing paper, there are variations of colour and brush marks in the painted paper where I have layered the paint, and there's also a subtle sheen to the painted paper. The artwork comes in a protective clear plastic sleeve with a certificate of authenticity. There is extra space left around the figure to allow for framing (not shown in photo).
