Original artwork description:

This work explores the idea of removing a memory, or more aptly removing the event from history altogether. However, we cannot change history but we can remove or discard the memory, leaving only those memories we love. This work was painted in the style of abstract expressionism.

I like using acrylics as the colours blend so well together. This work has glittery dried acrylic as well, one image shows, side on, the effect. It is designed to catch the light.

This work is painted on 12 oz gallery canvas and has been sealed with varnish. This canvas has been REMOVED FROM THE STRETCHER, it is more affordable to have the work remounted than pay for expensive shipping. The work will NEED REMOUNTING and is suitable for a stretcher frame that is 200 cm in width by 96 cm in height.

This work was created on 4th April 2019.

In my paintings, I use the finest quality professional Liquitex acrylic paints, gallery canvas. The painting was sprayed with a glaze of varnish.

A Certificate of Authenticity with hologram - verification is attached to the image.
