Artist's description:

This picture is about the place; the familiar shapes, rolling hills, trees and colours. This is the countryside, and typical north Yorkshire with pretty stone cottages, the woods and a wandering river. It is about a sense of returning, to a place where you may feel at home or relaxed or welcomed. It may be a place you have never known but yearn to visit. It may be a place of your forebears in times past as it is for me.
This image started as a series of photographs taken around Kettlewell and Yockenthwaite in north Yorkshire. The final image layers small fragments of both colour and monochrome photographs and digitally combines with it original drawing and watercolour painting. The image is then printed on museum quality watercolour paper as a limited edition digital image.

Printed on acid free watercolour paper using ultra chrome archival standard inks for longevity, each print is signed and numbered on the front with the title. The print also comes with a certificate of authenticity.
