Original artwork description:

When I made my first ever trip to Oklahoma, I passed this motel several times. I was in Broken Bow in the foothills of the Ozarks visiting my brother-in-law and his wife, who have a home there.

I fell in love with the sign and made my husband drive me back and forth through the busy intersection so I could get some good photos of it. I started painting as soon as I got home. I'm now obsessed with vintage neon signs.

Materials used:

acrylic
