Really enjoyed getting back to some seascape painting. We spent a lovely day on Saunton Sands a few weeks ago, when the sun was actually shining. We had a BBQ with friends in the evening and this is inspired by the light. I started by rubbing on a thin layer of oil and then building up the layers with thicker paint and using a wax medium and an oil medium to get shiny and mat textures. Hope you like it.
