Artist's description:

An original, unique acrylic monoprint/monotype, matt varnished, expressing the colour sensibility of the artist and keen sense of observation. Allotments are plots of land rented by individuals to grow vegetables and fruit. Edinburgh, Scotland, has 29 areas of allotments and they provide plenty of interest for the artist. I love the textures and colours I find.
A day on an allotment, preparing the ground, sowing or harvesting is not only satisfying but is very beautiful surrounded by vegetables, fruit trees and flowers as well as seeing and hearing the birds.
Inspired by sketches and photosketches of some of these beautiful areas, this one-of-a-kind monoprint/monotype will give the Artfinder collector as much pleasure as Fraser had in creating this artwork.
(A temporary mount is included in the package)
