One of few linocuts of mine. Linocut print is curious technique to explore in a way that it doesn't allow for very fine detail and thereofre forces the artist to transmit the vision in more direct condensed way. This one here is a two plate linocut (each color is pressed from separate plate).
The work depicts an inner ancounter; release and discovery of new potential, new energy - here symbolised by the magical child-like figure riding a horse. Promisse of change and liberation.
Linocut is pressed using oil-based Charbonelle inks on archival 300gsm cotton paper. Hand signed and numbered on the front.
Limited edition of 30 exemplars.
