Original artwork description:

This seascape is an artwork based on observations of the sea where I live in North Wales. It has an 'ethereal' and semi-abstract approach of a calm sea, when the horizon is not visible and the point at which the sea meets the sky is blended in such a way that one cannot see where each one starts or ends. In such days the air is filled with mist and the sea is very calm and often the only sound heard is of small waves reaching the shore. I always feel great peace and calm and stay for ages taking notes of the different color hues etc.
This artwork has multiple layers of speckled dashes of paint applied over smooth layers . It has a semi-matt paint finish with a deep edge canvas and the painting continues on its side edges so it does not require framing.
