This artwork is a part of a larger body of work titled ‘Memoirs of Lost Time’ by artist Vikram Kushwah and co-creative director Trisha Sakhlecha.

A series of meticulously staged images and short stories inspired by the romantic notions of childhood memories and the almost dreamlike nature they possess, these images take you on an enthralling photographic and literary expedition. The stories are based on seven creative personalities’ childhood memories and recollections. The images are dramatic, romantic and surreal – illustrating a very dream-like and imaginative interpretation of these distant memories, a very blurred line between fact and fiction, which is perhaps how the memory works. They are not only a reflection of what was, but also of what could have been. The series has been published widely including features in Vogue Italia (print & online) and it has been exhibited at the Corso Como Gallery (Milan) as part of the "Best of Photo Vogue" exhibition.

This image features designer Elizabeth Lau.

Materials used:

Shot on medium format analogue camera. Printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308gsm, 100% white cotton archival quality fine art paper. This is a print only and comes packed in a tube.
