I love the unusual view point of this piece. I cut the figure from paper I'd painted orange. This is mounted on off-white paper to reveal the form of the nude. At first glance this cut-out may look like a painting, but the close-up shot shows some subtleties of the cut paper technique I use: there are rough edges where I've cut the orange paper with a scalpel and there are variations in colour where I've painted the paper before cutting it. The artwork comes in a protective clear plastic sleeve.
