Original artwork description:

Using the side of hard conte pastels to create an energy around the quiet repose of the model. Two colours on a black paper.

Rayism effect gives the pose an energy and movement that is not there. The body is implied by the mark making following the curve of bones and muscle into space beyond.

Mounting/Mat Suggestion: An image is included of how the piece could look if float-mounted or put behind mountboard(s) [in the US known as mats] before framing by you.

NB the colour of the picture may be slightly different on your monitor/phone depending on settings.

Materials used:

Pastel
