Artist's description:

I did this music painting demo with my wife Victoria playing "Wine Spree" on Chinese 7-string zither in a live workshop at Nan Rae's studio on May 4, 2014. I touched up a little bit in 2016 before include it in my 40 year retrospect exhibition at University of Wisconsin as an artist in residence. I was trying to illustrate the Qi Baishi's famous quote: "The wonder is in between resemblant and dis-resemblant." Running horse symbolized success and the Chinese believe that number eight(8) will bring good luck.
