Artist's description:

Meet the Eduard Bohlen Shipwreck!

It ran aground in 1909 near Conception Bay - Namibia. It is about 120 meters long and today lies 800 meters inland, partially covered by sand dunes, and home to two Jackals.

It is nearly impossible to reach it and one requires a special license from the government. it took us more than 4 hours by road, across massive dunes and beach strips at low tide to reach it.

We had to camp on site to catch the right light and time.

Materials used:

Hahnemuhle German Etching Paper.
