I love to look at the night sky because it puts things into perspective. I once was able to view a complete solar eclipse, and was able to see the dark shadow move across the sky at noon, and listen to the crickets begin to sing. This piece celebrates that once in a lifetime experience. Although it happened decades ago, it still thrills me to remember it. This piece is preserved with a matte varnish for protection. It is suitable for framing.
