Artwork description:
Based on the same line drawing used for the smaller Echinacea print, a completely new (and much larger!) linoblock was carved to produce this 'Echinacea and Agastache' print.
It's an original reduction linocut print, using just one block of lino and a process of carving away the lino between each layer of colour to produce the final image.
It is a limited variable edition print with two colourway versions - Version 1 is an edition of 11 prints using Lawrence oil-based inks and printed on either Zerkall smooth white paper (145gsm) or UNICO Fabriano cream paper (250gsm). The image size is 31cm x 60.5cm with a generous margin to allow for framing.
My linocuts are handmade from start to finish - hand carved, inked and handprinted, and as such they will have small variations between prints - making each print into a unique artwork.
As these prints are quite large, they will be sent packaged in a reinforced tube.
