Original artwork description:

The painting was the first one I've managed to make after being utterly worried for long week and a half for my dear aunt living in Ukraine. After she and her family had to flee their dear Kharkiv, and I could finally breathe after enormous amount of stress, I went to the sea side in my hometown Tallinn and realized I have not been painting for a week and feeling physically not well because of the news and not painting too. After my body and soul relaxed a bit, I was able to see the wonderful early spring, the bright blue sky, crazily beautiful indigo-blue shadows dropped by the awakening trees on the melting white snow. And there was silence and peace in the clear fresh air. I wouldn't say the scenery is something typical for me to paint, but I felt so grateful to life as if I got blinded for a week and suddenly regained my sight and her majesty Spring was first to open to my eyes. A little ode to life that is.
Oil on primed 3mm thick board.
