Question for the artist?

Artist's description:

Part of a series of four acrylic paintings hand embellished using individual Swarovski® Elements and copper metallic leaf, both of which give a beautiful sparkle from different angles and catch the eye.
A very fine brush was used to blend the paint, creating a striking contrast between light and dark.

Inspired by sacred geometry, the paper has been cut to the ration of a golden rectangle. In geometry, a golden rectangle is a rectangle whose side lengths are in the golden ratio. The golden rectangle has been known since antiquity as one having a pleasing shape, and is frequently found in art and architecture as a rectangular shape that seems 'right' to the eye. It is mentioned in Euclid's Elements and was known to artists and philosophers such as Leonardo da Vinci.

Framed in a 23mm wide solid pine classic frame with flat faced profile in pure matt white. Crystal clear 2mm acrylic glazing. Shatter proof and 20% clearer than glass. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity attached to the back of the frame. The frame is complete with a 30mm acid free double mount (snow white top, black bottom) and backing board, which protects the artwork.

Materials used:

Acrylic, metallic leaf & Swarovski® Elements
