I love sand dunes, and there are some impressive ones in the Florida Panhandle. I spent a very nice afternoon painting these two dunes, once in watercolor (this one) and once in pastel. Pure white "sugar sands" for which the Gulf Coast of Florida is famous. Dune Rosemary plants on the top. They're very tough bushes that anchor and protect the dunes beneath them.
This watercolor measures 8 x 10 inches, and is framed as shown. The outside dimensions of the frame are 12 x 14 inches. Under glass, and ready to hang.
