The eye makes a way through the sea grass and dunes to the water in this deeply gestural seascape. It is painted with both brushes and palette knives and ink. This is from my long-running series in which I explore gestural abstraction in the figurative subject. DUNES LVIII displays a unique palette of turquoises and tan/brown, greens and blue-grays. The sides are painted black, prepared for a floater frame or frame of your choosing. It is coated with archival varnish for protection from dirt and light. It is unframed and wired and arrives with wall hardware included for immediate display in your space.
