This painting was created during the time of the controversial painting of the Duchess of Cambridge. Adam took an image from a newspaper and did his trick of screwing up the image to then paint the result as a still life image of a portrait. Now he knows for some this might not be an image many would like, however it is a response to the way the media becomes screwed up, thrown aside or messed up due to the many versions of news in existence.
This painting is part of his series of 'cubist/ dadist/ surrealist' images showing another way of viewing reality.
