The highest point on the rail journey from Edinburgh to my hometown of Inverness; a dramatic glen which epitomises the Highlands of Scotland. The colours are typical - the brown of peat and bracken, and a slight tinge of purple heather on the hills. In the winter it is often blocked with snow. The house on the right was included to give scale.
