Artist's description:

This was an experimental piece for me. It is quite a bit different than my previous styles. I wanted to create an emotional painting that used imagery and symbolism to portray people and times from my past. It was painted in part with rapid, forceful brushstokes in an effort to convey turmoil. The "floating" placement of different elements and softened brushstrokes gave this piece a dream like quality.
