This piece of art is the first thing I see when I wake up. It's hung next to a large window in my bedroom with plenty of sunlight which allows the intricate shimmering colors to continuously vary throughout the day. The painting gilds the lily of our sun's natural beauty as it rises & sets.
Christopher, I apologize for not reviewing this piece a long time ago. It was a gift for my wife's recent birthday so I had to keep it in hiding for a bit. Some of the best times in our lives were spent together on vacation in NYC and this painting reminded me so much of them. My wife has always had a profound respect for pigeons, their tendency to mate for life & how they collectively mourn the loss of another. It's a shame how society has depicted them so often as a nuisance instead of the way you have done so well in this painting, as the unique graceful creatures they truly are.
