Artist's description:

This photo was taken at Katog Mardo Tashi Choling, a Buddhist monastery in what was historically the Golok area of Amdo Province of Tibet. It is now part of Qinghai Province of China. I spent 2 months at the monastery in the summer of 2007. The abbot of the monastery is Khentrul Lodro Thaye Rinpoche, who is of the Katog lineage of the Nyingma school of Tibetan Buddhism.

It is signed and numbered on the margin outside the photo image. The high quality watercolor paper it is printed on has bright whites and colors and the texture gives a "painterly" quality to the print.

The measurements of the actual image size are accurate. The base dimensions are not exact, but are unimportant because there will be plenty of space between the image and the edge of a matte.

Materials used:

Giclee print on bright white textured watercolor paper.
