The journey to complete this painting began more than one year ago and was full of obstacles, including a huge creative block. The unusual and emotional face of the model made things even harder: those timeless eyes are simply uncatchable, they need time and patience.
This is a work inspired by Italian Renaissance art, with a pop/kitsch twist, framed in a white and pink ornate frame, hand painted and finished with beeswax.
