Original artwork description:

Painted on-site at the Iris Garden of the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. Features two iris flowers of the variety named "Dog Days". The flowers feature the earthy colors of cream and metallic gold, shot through with streaks of dark red, and with golden yellow "beards". The background indicates the foliage of the garden with shades of deep green, and subtly shimmering iridescent paint.

Painted in oil on board. Comes framed in a 3" wide wood frame with blue-gray "sagebrush" colored finish. May also be purchased unframed.
