London's ever-changing skyline is most evident over the past 20 years at the site of the old docks. Bombed flat during WW2, it has since risen to become a financial hub, a place to live and work. In this painting I wanted to lighten the massive structures and simplify them to almost abstract shapes, dark against both sky and river. Much wet in wet and plenty of blotting , I hope, creates a vibrant scene and successful painting.
All paintings are wrapped and packed in robust card and posted
