Very bright colors and feel to this piece. I am still working in the same palette that I have been using, but, really put forth effort to make this one pop with color. I called this piece divide because in all of these landscape pieces, the color is the division as well as the definition of space and how we view a horizon line as the audience. This one is divided 3 times, or at least you get the impression that is divided three times within the space. I use both acrylic and oil paint and manipulate the paint to give the finish I am looking for. When using water and mineral spirits after the paint is applied, I am able to give it a "watercolor" feeling.
Sides are painted black and ready to hang.
