Artist's description:

The painting is of an area called Hemerdon Mine, located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park near Plymouth. The then, disused tungsten mine had been derelict for many years and was used by farmers etc as a bit of a storage area. Within the the general flotsam of human activity was a poeticism which i loved, this is one of a series of paintings that evolved. www.eddiefordham.com
