Artist's description:

This is a Digital modified image of a Retro photograph taken in the mid 1990's of the South Face of St.Stephen's Tower (Housing the famous Bell 'Big Ben') at the Houses of Parliament, London. The image is a very rare image, as it was taken at a view point that the general public would not be able to obtain within the Houses of Parliament and views towards the North of Portcullis House (at the time of this photograph taken, Portcullis House was un-built, and is not seen in the skyline).

This image has been Digitally modified and enhanced to bring out the Four Colours of the main Political Parties, Blue, Red, Yellow and Green. Firstly, the Conservative Party ('Tory Party' has Political Colours of Blue), secondly, Labour Party (Political colours of Red), thirdly Liberal Democrats (identified by Political colour Yellow) and finally the Green Party (identified by Political colour Green)

Within the House of Commons, the leader Political Party draw up Policies and these are argued/debated over, and the final Policies are either won (implemented) or lost (rejected), hence there's a Battle of Words, Battle over Big Ben.
