Artist's description:

This is an initial study inspired by the artist, Paul Cummins installation called 'Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red' of 888,246 ceramic red poppies at HRP Tower of London in 2014, to commemorate 100 years since the First World War (1914-1918).

This has been created by dropping 'Drops' of small amounts of paint and spinning 'Spins' on a revolving table. By 'Spins' the paint is pushed to the outer edges and leaves a trail of the poppies, just like the stem of the poppies.
