Artist's description:

Small oil painting on canvas of a local landmark, Dinas Bran, above Llangollen. It was the site of an old medieval castle from around 1260. It is now a collection of walls and stands proud against the winds atop a small steep sided hill. The walk up is well worth it and it does get busy at times with families enjoying the views or spelling out their names with the slate and stones lying around.
This was painted out doors on site in one sitting, I am itching to get out there and do some more.
The painting is unframed and is fitted with mirror plates midway down the vertical sides, ready for hanging. They are loosened and rotated inwards for safe shipping.
